Worth the Wait

Worth the Wait (WTW) has served as the organizational catalyst in bringing together community-wide efforts to promote abstinence until marriage education. Establishing early teen sexual involvement as a youth risk behavior and public health concern has enabled WTW to enlist medical professionals, social workers, teachers, and the community at large. Thus, WTW advocates a teamwork approach that emphasizes the idea of informed teen decision making in the avoidance of all high-risk behaviors. WTW's main focus is to educate, equip and empower the teens of the Texas Panhandle to choose abstinence and make healthy life choices.
