Great Start

Great Start is a curriculum designed to help those couples that are seriously dating, engaged or newlyweds begin their relationship on the right path. This 8 hour curriculum covers:

• Friends First
• Communication
• Expectations
• 10 Step Problem Solving Method
• "We" Begins with "Me"
• Commitment
• Healthy Sexual Intimacy
• Financial Wisdom for Newlyweds
• Affair Proofing Your Marriage

This curriculum, developed by Wib Newton, has been specifically developed to assist in the execution of the Texas marriage initiative, Twogetherin Texas. This effort provides free marriage training to anyone who chooses to participate. Those who are engaged can attend one of these public workshops. Upon completion the couple will receive a certificate to present to the County Clerk who will then wave the marriage license fee ($60).
